Clinical Director – Community Pillars Health and Recovery Centers
Rose Taylor is a dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, with a combined 25 years of experience in medicine and mental health care. She serves as the Clinical Director at Community Pillars Health and Recovery Centers, where she leads a diverse clinical team in providing trauma-informed, client-centered care across the health span.
Rose began her nursing education at Arizona State University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000. She continued her professional development by completing a Master of Science in Nursing in Acute Care at Grand Canyon University in 2013. In 2021, she obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Arizona, expanding her ability to address the full spectrum of client needs through psychiatric care.
Throughout her career, Rose has worked in high acuity medical environments, particularly in cardiothoracic and critical care. These experiences highlighted a recurring concern for her, the emotional and psychological impacts of serious illness often go unaddressed. Motivated by this realization, she transitioned into psychiatry to help bridge the gap between physical recovery and mental well-being.
As Clinical Director at Community Pillars, Rose is responsible for overseeing all psychiatric and behavioral health operations. She supervises staff, ensures program wide compliance with regulatory standards, and guides the implementation of personalized treatment protocols. She prioritizes care that is respectful, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to each client’s story and needs. In her own words, “no one is textbook and each client deserves respectful, individualized care.”
Rose uses a variety of evidence-based treatment models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. She specializes in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, dementia, and substance use disorder. Her approach combines clinical precision with compassion and deep respect for the healing journey.
Outside of her work, Rose enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, hiking, and traveling. She brings warmth, insight, and dedication to everything she does and remains a trusted and inspiring presence in the lives of both clients and colleagues at Community Pillars.
