Jeremi Taylor is a purpose driven entrepreneur and the founder of Community Pillars Health and Recovery Centers, a behavioral health organization based in Mesa, Arizona. Dedicated to empowering adults in recovery, Community Pillars provides compassionate and community rooted mental health and substance abuse services. Jeremi’s leadership is inspired by his own journey of transformation and his mission is to create a safe space where healing is not just possible but expected.
Jeremi’s passion for helping others in recovery is rooted in his own lived experience. After facing years of instability, addiction, and incarceration, he made the decision to change the trajectory of his life starting with accountability and a willingness to grow. Immediately following his incarceration, Jeremi attended New Freedom’s Intensive Outpatient Program where he earned his Peer Support Specialist Certification and received his Professional Commercial Driver’s License, marking the first steps toward reclaiming his independence. He then began rebuilding his future with discipline, structure, and a sense of purpose that had once felt out of reach. That same drive led him to pursue higher education in cybersecurity engineering, yet his yearning to help others has now led him down the path of psychiatry. Each step of his transformation reinforced a calling to serve and that calling became the foundation of Community Pillars Health and Recovery Centers, a place where others could find the same strength and hope he discovered in himself.
Jeremi brings a unique blend of lived experience and professional discipline to his role as the founder of Community Pillars Health and Recovery Centers. After completing his Peer Support certification and earning his Commercial Driver’s License, Jeremi began working with major food service companies including Sysco and US Foods. In these high demand, fast paced environments, he developed the work ethic, precision, and accountability that would later support his transition into the field of behavioral health. Jeremi is currently pursuing a degree in Addictions and Substance Use Disorder, and he plans to continue his education at Maricopa Community Colleges to earn a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health Sciences. His long term goal is to attend medical school and become a psychiatrist, combining clinical training with personal insight to help others achieve meaningful and lasting recovery. He has also been accepted into Arizona State University’s Entrepreneurial Business Program, where he is gaining the tools to scale sustainable health services and lead with innovation. Each chapter of his journey, from logistics to leadership, has sharpened the focus and compassion that guide his work today. Through Community Pillars, Jeremi is committed to building a structured and ethical organization that uplifts individuals and strengthens communities.
Jeremi leads with integrity, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility to those he serves. He believes in second chances, clear communication, and building people up through trust and consistency. His leadership style is rooted in lived experience and sharpened through discipline, education, and a commitment to doing what is right even when no one is watching. Jeremi believes that healing happens in safe, structured spaces, and he works every day to ensure that Community Pillars reflects those values in both its services and its culture.
Outside of his work at Community Pillars, Jeremi is passionate about technology and personal growth. He enjoys exploring the intersections between mental health and cybersecurity and is always looking for new ways to blend innovation with service. Whether he is digging into coursework, fine tuning his vision for recovery programs, or mentoring others on their own paths, Jeremi finds fulfillment in staying active, learning new skills, and living with purpose.
